Today we celebrated St. Brigid's Day, Lá Fhéile Bríde, when our pupils enjoyed learning about one of our patron saints and took part in the lovely tradition of making St. Brigid crosses. A massive thank you to Kathleen Mc Elroy for coming along to the school to help our younger pupils with making the crosses out of rushes. Thank you to all the parents who helped our pupils to cut rushes for the occasion.
