Key Stage 2 pupils were very excited on Thursday to be able to work with Kathleen to make St. Brigid's Day Crosses. They learned about Ireland’s second patron saint, St. Brigid and how she created the cross from rushes, to help explain to the people of Ireland about God. This year we celebrate 1500th anniversary of Saint Brigid in Ireland. Well done to all who made the beautiful crosses and a massive thank you to Kathleen for all her help.
