This week our pupils have been learning all about one of our patron saints, Saint Brigid, in preparation for her feast day on 1st February. P5 - P7 pupils collected rushes and continued the Irish tradition of making crosses from rushes, under the expert guidance of our classroom assistants. Every family in the school was then presented with a beautiful cross; thank you to Anne, Ciara and Julie for your help.
