Primary Threes and Fours Enjoying Outdoor Learning
30th Sep 2022
We enjoyed the beauty of our countryside in Aughadarragh yesterday when we headed off on our nature walk. We learned how to recognise the main types of local trees, how they are changing in Autumn and counted the different types as we went along. Our townland’s name means “the land of the oak” and when we discovered over 20 oak trees nearby, it most certainly fits the bill! Then we used our findings to create Autumn Art. Have a look at our pictures to see our creations.
