On Wednesday, as part of our preparation for Confirmation, the P7 class visited St. Patrick's Purgatory on Lough Derg. Weather conditions were not so favourable, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of our P7 pilgrims who enjoyed the boat trip and the retreat on this sacred island. The pupils were involved in art activities, prayers, a tour of the Basilica as well as learning about the history of the island. Thank you to Mark and Ronan who supported our faith journey and to Canon McGahan for organising our retreat.
