As part of our Health and Well being week at School, P5 to P7 had an outdoor lesson on our own Aughadarragh Road! The pupils were given a valuable lesson by Mrs Quinn on identifying Irish trees and wildflowers within the area.
The children were able to identify the oak, birch, ash, beech, chestnut and holly trees along our road. We took a collection of leaves and seeds back to our picnic benches for further investigation. Have a look at our pictures to see what leaves and flowers you can identify?😃
