On Friday 31st January a very special day was celebrated in St. Patrick's Aughadarragh, when we acknowledged our grandparents and celebrated their role in our families and in our school. Our grandparents were treated to a beautiful meal followed by a prayer service and music from our very talented pupils. They were then presented with St. Brigid's crosses, cards, certificates and lots of hugs!!
Thank you to all the grandparents who attended, to Fr. McGahan for help with the prayer service, to Kathleen and Anne for help with St. Brigid's crosses, to the staff and Mrs McGinley and most especially to Elizabeth and Annette for all their help in making this a very memorable occasion.
