Our P6 & P7 pupils harvested our potatoes this week which had been planted earlier in the year when we were studying the Great Famine. There was great excitement while digging, wondering what the crop would be like and if they would be affected by blight. Thankfully we had a great harvest and Elizabeth was at hand to prepare them for dinner. Delicious spuds and soup!!!😋
