Today, Mid Ulster Council invited P6&P7 pupils to their first ever ‘Forest School’ experience at Knockmany forest. Forests schools are a child- centred learning place with a hands- on experience of the natural environment. The children loved to learn about local wildlife and the habitats within the forest. They also had the opportunity to create ‘Team’ dens. What a fantastic day enjoyed by all. We are looking forward to our next session already!
