First Holy Communion Day
Yesterday, we celebrated the Primary Fours' First Holy Communion Day in the glorious sunshine at St Patrick’s Church, Clogher. Our children presented themselves impeccably and carried out their important roles perfectly, very well done to each of you. A huge thank you to Canon McGahan as he made our preparations and our big day so meaningful and special for everyone. Thank you to our amazing choir, with Christina, Marina and Mrs McGuinness, who made our Mass even more beautiful. You can have a listen here to a short clip of our traditional group which included some of our amazing First Communicants! Very well done! Thank you to our classroom assistant, Pauline for our beautiful display and her daily support and care of our children in P3 and P4. The children also welcomed back Miss Colton, our student teacher who was delighted to see our brilliant P4s! And thank you to Kathleen McElroy for the gorgeous flowers. Following our Mass, we enjoyed a scrumptious afternoon tea, provided for us by the parents of our Primary Threes from our two parish schools, thank you so much. We have some photographs here which show snapshots from a day the children will remember for the rest of their lives.
This was followed today by our children joining in the Parish Mass, whereby they fulfilled their roles once again perfectly. We are so proud of you all.
