On Saturday 1st June we had a glorious day at St Macartan's Chapel, Augher, as our fab fourteen, Primary Four children celebrated their First Holy Communion with their families and the school community. We are so proud of them and how each one carried out their duties perfectly. A special thank you to our P4 teacher, Mrs McIlduff and to Pauline our classroom assistant for preparing our children so well. Canon McGahan made this a special day that the children will always remember; we are very grateful for his dedication. Our school choir and traditional musicians made the mass such an uplifting ceremony and we want to thank our music teacher, Ciara McGinley, and all our singers and musicians. After mass our families were treated to a beautiful afternoon tea in the community centre and on behalf of the school community, we thank all the parents who helped to make this so special for our children.
